The VTY10 flow sensor is a compact turbine water flow sensor that is supplied with the Select Doser range.
It is durable with a long working life.
Normally supplied ready plugged for ease of connection to the Select Doser. Cable colour definitions are shown in case independent connection is required.
It is not possible to dismantle the VTY10 sensor. In case of malfunction, inspect the unit to determine if any foreign particles (hair, feathers, vegetation etc.) are preventing the free-running of the turbine.
It is preferable to protect the VTY10 flow sensor by using a water filter upstream of the sensor.
Uses – This low cost sensor can be used in all situations of moderate water flow. Particular uses in agriculture are single poultry houses and small groups of pigs.
