Hired-Hand Super-Saver LPG Heater and Accessories

Hired-Hand Super-Saver LPG Agricultural Heater (Model SS-225-XL) is an efficient and trouble free heater that is AGA Certified and is compliant with EN 12669. It has a direct spark ignition for any agricultural operation with a maximum output of 65.9 kW (225,000 BTUH) and requires ventilation of 1700 m3 /h (1000 CFM) as the flow of combustion and ventilation air must not be obstructed.

Before installation, check that the local distribution conditions, nature of gas and pressure, and the current state of adjustment of the appliances are compatible. A qualified installer is required to install, commission, and adjust the appliance before use.

The heater may be suspended with chains or by a cable and pulley system, accessories for alternative fittings are available on request. For heaters which are installed indoors, it is important to be aware that they should never be installed in an indoor environment which contain or may contain volatile airborne combustibles, or products such as gasoline, solvents, paint thinner, dust particles, or unknown chemicals. Failure to follow these instructions may result in a fire or explosion. Solid combustibles, such as building materials, paper or cardboard, feathers, and dust should also be a safe distance away from the heater.

There is also an outside mount model available where the heater can be installed to the outside wall of a building. This saves valuable space inside the building and ensures fresh air intake for the heater.

Requirements for LPG Gas:
Maximum 57.5 mbar (22.7 in. w.c.) and minimum 25 mbar (9.9 in. w.c.)
Inlet gas supply pressure acceptable at heater input.
Burner manifold pressure 25 mbar (10 in. w.c.) at maximum input.
Gas pressure should be checked by a certified gas technician while heater is in operation.
All sealing devices must be restored after the gas conversion.

This heater is not for home or recreational use.
One-year warranty against electrical and mechanical defects in material and workmanship.
